As a foreign journalist accredited by the Foreign Press Club (State Department division) in Washington, DC, Katya conducted a series of exclusive interviews with various US officials and attended multiple World Bank and IMF meetings. She also closely followed Congressional hearings and State Department events related to energy, policy, and economic issues.
Katya played a crucial role in combining Rice University's Energy and Environment Initiative with four foreign universities specializing in energy and environmental studies.
In addition to her undergraduate degree in Cultural Studies, Katya holds a Master's Degree in Strategic Public Relations from George Washington University. She also completed rigorous business courses at Harvard Business School, receiving the CORe certificate and Kennedy's School Public Leadership Credentials. Katya also recently obtained a Digital Marketing Specialist certification through HSE & Google's program. Katya is an alumnus of RECS-2020, sponsored by the US Department of Energy, focused on business sustainability practices.
All the mentioned work has allowed her to establish a strong network of individuals, ultimately leading her to establish a strategic PR and marketing agency.
